Launchtrip
2021 - 2022
Purpose — Launchtrip is a tech startup in the travel industry to make booking hotels and restaurants to a destination or live event easier. With a focus geared towards group travel, the app offered group discounts and allowed everyone to pay separately right in the app.
Role — I was Launchtrip’s in-house Graphic Designer, working alongside a small but mighty creative team consisting of a Video Editor and an Art Director. I primarily focused on designing organic social posts to bolster our social media presence and collaborated cross-functionally with our marketing team to develop and execute numerous advertising campaigns.

Ad Campaigns
“Explore. Inspire. Book. ” — Launch Ad
This ad was designed to succinctly display Launchtrip’s key features and target general users to garner organic downloads.
“The Travel App Made For Fans” — Super Bowl Campaign
This paid Facebook and Instagram campaign was to leverage the upcoming playoff games for the 2021 NFL Season to showcase Launchtrip’s trip booking features. The goal was to target sports fans in the surrounding cities of each game and get them to book their hotel accommodations with our product.
“Feeling Cooped Up?” — Spring Break Campaign
This campaign was for paid media on Instagram and targeted travellers interested in visiting our beach destinations. We leveraged the feeling of “winter fatigue” and the desire to plan a getaway somewhere warm. We created motion graphics that were city specific and tested the efficacy of male imagery, female imagery, and simply city imagery.

Brand Systems & Creative Standards
I worked cross-functionally with my Marketing Manager and Managing Editor to develop Launchtrip’s core brand systems and creative standards. We worked to establish the company’s tone and mood to dictate how we visually represent ourselves. We did a comprehensive dive and audit into our imagery, copy, colours, and other important aspects that culminate into our visual language.
